According to PANews on July 29, Bloomberg reported that the major digital asset broker FalconX is expanding into Latin America to meet the region’s growing institutional demand for crypto assets. The company is launching its services in Brazil, with initial partners including BTG Pactual and Mercado Bitcoin, a subsidiary of MercadoLibre. This move aims to enable more local institutions to offer trading, credit, and custody services for digital assets. Josh Barkhordar, FalconX’s Head of Sales for the Americas, stated that thanks to the regulatory framework, forward-looking institutions, and economic drivers, “Latin America is one of the fastest-growing regions for crypto asset adoption.”
