Foresight News reports that BONK.fun announced via Twitter that the creator fee in BONKERS mode will be used to automatically buy back tokens. The specific rules include: 0.5% of the creator fee will be directly used to buy back tokens; the repurchased tokens will be stored in reserve (not burned); they can be used for CEX listing or market-making needs, otherwise they will never re-enter circulation; this applies only to new BONKERS tokens, and older tokens may support this feature in the future.
BONKERS is a special token issuance mode provided by BONK.fun.
