Phoenix Technology News, February 4 — Well-known investor Duan Yongping discussed Tesla on Snowball, saying, “FSD is indeed very useful, and driving the Model Y doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Now, driving a Tesla has become my top choice.”

On December 7 last year, Duan Yongping also shared details about his latest purchase of a Tesla Model Y. He stated that during the test drive, the experience of autopilot was “really good,” but because he was looking at his phone and texting while driving, the vehicle system forcibly took over twice and pulled over to the roadside. This “punishment” triggered by the safety mechanism did not make him angry; instead, he exclaimed, “Okay, Tsla, I’m back!” implying a renewed recognition of Tesla’s product strength.

Although he had previously been reserved about Tesla due to dissatisfaction with Elon Musk’s personal conduct, poor after-sales service in the early years, and his belief in the “investment equals choosing people” philosophy, he highly recognizes Tesla’s cost control and differentiation advantages achieved through a minimal product line and large-scale production.
