IT House, February 9 — Sony PlayStation today announced the release of a “PC READY” version of the DualSense wireless controller for the Japanese market. This new model features a “Midnight Black” color scheme for the controller itself and includes a USB Type-C to USB Type-C “C port” data cable for wired connection.

The model will be officially released on March 5, with a price of 11,480 yen (IT House note: approximately 505.8 RMB at current exchange rates), the standard version without a data cable.

IT House has learned that, in addition to first-party devices, the DualSense controller also supports Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 11, Android 12, and several Apple operating systems. It allows both wired USB and wireless Bluetooth connections across a wide range of platforms. Users can update the firmware on Windows PCs and also use it as a controller for PS Remote Play streaming gameplay.
