On October 18, Astra Nova — a Web3 entertainment and infrastructure company focused on AI — raised $48.3 million to expand its encryption content toolkit and platform for creators. This funding includes $41.6 million from a recent strategic funding round, along with previous investments led by Outlier Ventures and participation from family offices and financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain.

Astra Nova develops tools that help creators deploy entertainment experiences on the blockchain without requiring technical skills. The flagship product TokenPlay AI is a no-code mini-program launch platform powered by Alibaba Cloud, allowing the community to use tokens to launch interactive utilities in just a few minutes. Other products include NovaToon — a Web3 webtoon platform that allows fans to co-create stories through NFTs, and Deviants: Fight Club — a PvP game on Telegram integrating Astra Nova's RVV token as in-game rewards.

The company announced that it will expand into the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, while preparing to comply with legal regulations. Strategic partners include NEOM, NVIDIA Inception, and Alibaba Cloud.
