On February 11, the on-chain data analytics platform Arkham plans to shut down its cryptocurrency trading platform Arkham Exchange, according to sources familiar with the matter, due to the platform’s inability to attract sufficient trading volume. Arkham Intelligence first proposed the development of a cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform in October 2024. By early 2025, Arkham Exchange was offering spot cryptocurrency trading services in multiple states in the United States and launched a mobile trading app in December. According to CoinGecko data, Arkham’s trading volume over the past 24 hours was only approximately $620,000.
