卓创资讯：Recent willingness to chase urea prices has weakened, and the overall market trend is stabilizing.

After a continuous rise in the domestic urea market in January, most industry players showed weakened willingness to follow the upward trend in February. With certain supplies held, procurement became more cautious, and the transaction focus in some local markets slightly loosened. On February 3rd, the average domestic urea market price was 1,780.55 yuan per ton, down 0.01% compared to the previous trading day.
Currently, China’s daily urea production has reached approximately 210,000 tons, a slight increase of around 0.05% compared to the same period last year. After 2026, domestic urea output shows a significant recovery increase, mainly due to the gradual resumption of production and maintenance by previously reduced or shut-down enterprises. Overall daily output fluctuates between 205,000 and 215,000 tons. From the perspective of producers, it is currently the off-season for agriculture, with procurement mainly for reserve fertilizers; industrial demand, such as for compound fertilizers, is supported by new winter storage orders. Large-scale enterprises are operating reasonably well, and recent market conditions have provided some support.
As the Spring Festival holiday approaches, most industrial production enterprises are expected to gradually close after this week. The market is mainly driven by agricultural reserves, but due to logistics issues and holiday breaks for workers, overall shipments may slow down, and enterprise inventories could enter a phase of accumulation. Therefore, the market lacks conditions for further price increases.
