In response to U.S. President Trump’s remarks about China and Canada’s cooperation, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated at the regular press conference on February 11 that China and Canada building a new type of strategic partnership reflects the spirit of equality, openness and inclusiveness, peaceful cooperation, and shared win-win outcomes. It is not targeted at any third party, aligns with the common interests of the peoples of both countries, and is also conducive to world peace, stability, development, and prosperity.
