Accident on Calzada de Guadalupe: Train and car collision causes traffic chaos in Mexico City

A collision between a train and a private vehicle at the Hidalgo Railroad and Circuito Interior intersection left one person trapped inside the car on the morning of January 28. The incident occurred in the 7 de Noviembre neighborhood, an area marking the boundary between Gustavo A. Madero and Cuauhtémoc boroughs, causing significant traffic congestion that affected the entire central zone of the city.

According to preliminary reports from the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC), the event mobilized firefighters, Civil Protection, and security authorities who immediately began rescue operations. Emergency teams were working to extract the trapped occupant.
