Shanghai Securities News China Securities Journal (Reporter Dou Shiping) reported that on February 3rd, local time, AMD Chairman and CEO Su Zifeng revealed during the company’s fiscal year 2025 fourth quarter earnings call that the MI450 series is on schedule to be released and begin mass production in the second half of 2026. Revenue will start from the third quarter and will see significant growth in the fourth quarter and 2027.
She also disclosed that the next-generation MI500 series will be driven by the CDNA6 architecture, built on advanced 2-nanometer process technology, and will feature high-speed HBM4E memory. The MI500 is expected to be launched in 2027, achieving another major leap in AI performance and powering the next wave of large-scale multimodal models.
