Edomex Verification Calendar 2026: Don't miss the deadlines according to your sticker

The Edomex 2026 verification schedule is already underway, and if you own a vehicle with a yellow sticker, time is running out. With the clock ticking and only weeks left to comply, it’s crucial to know exactly when you need to complete this mandatory process. Drivers with license plates ending in 5 and 6 are already on the edge: the verification window ends on February 28, a date that’s approaching quickly.

The Edomex verification schedule system operates in stages, distributing the procedures based on the sticker color and the last digit of the license plate. This strategy prevents overcrowding at authorized verification centers and allows drivers to properly organize this legal requirement.

February is ending soon: the critical deadline for yellow stickers

If your private vehicle registered in Edomex has a yellow sticker and your plate ends in 5 or 6, you have until February 28, 2026 to obtain your verification hologram. This means that as of today, only a few days remain to complete this process without facing penalties.

The urgency is due to environmental authorities maintaining tight margins. You still have time, but delaying the process only increases the risk of late verification. It’s recommended to schedule an appointment immediately at an authorized verification center to secure your spot and avoid last-minute disappointments.

Next cycle: pink sticker in February and March

After the yellow sticker, the cycle continues with the pink sticker. Drivers with plates ending in 7 and 8 will have their window during February and March 2026, with a final deadline of March 31. This staged approach allows each group of vehicles to verify without competing for overcrowding at verification centers.

The rest of the schedule continues progressively throughout the year, always respecting the sticker color and the last digits of the license plate as classification criteria. Authorities maintain this bi-monthly system to ensure an orderly and manageable flow.

Severe fines for not complying with the verification schedule

Failing to meet this requirement has significant financial consequences. Not verifying within the assigned two-month period results in a fine of approximately 3,394 pesos, equivalent to 30 Unidad de Medida y Actualización (UMA). This penalty applies when you go outside your designated period.

Additionally, driving without a valid hologram costs around 2,263 pesos (20 UMA). But the issues don’t end financially: non-compliance also restricts your circulation according to the Hoy No Circula program, exposing the driver to additional fines and mobility limitations.

What you need to do now

Schedule your appointment immediately at authorized verification centers. Don’t wait until the last days of February. Make sure you have all your documentation complete and up to date. Remember, the Edomex verification schedule is mandatory, and penalties are real: act today to avoid headaches tomorrow.
