The State Council Information Office held a press conference on February 4th to introduce the progress of agricultural and rural modernization and the solid advancement of rural revitalization. Zhu Weidong, Deputy Director of the Central Finance Office and Deputy Director of the Central Rural Work Leading Group, stated that to do a good job in “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers,” it is necessary to establish and practice a correct view of performance, always stand firm on the people’s position, adhere to seeking truth from facts and pragmatic approaches, and truly do good deeds and handle real issues. The key points are to focus on three aspects: first, to start from actual conditions; second, to give full play to the main role of farmers; third, to stimulate grassroots enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and innovation.
