BlackRock Asia-Pacific iShares Head Nicholas Peach stated that adding just 1% of crypto assets to traditional investment portfolios in Asian markets could bring nearly $2 trillion in capital inflows to the crypto market. As ETFs become more popular in Asia, BlackRock's US Bitcoin Spot ETF (IBIT) has rapidly grown to approximately $53 billion in assets. Peach pointed out that regulators in Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea are advancing the development of crypto ETFs, and it is expected that with clearer regulations, demand for crypto ETFs in Asian markets will further increase.
