According to Qichacha, on February 6th, Intel Mobile Communications Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. underwent a business change, and the company name was changed to Altera (300825) Laban Semiconductor Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

The company was established in December 2010, with CATIA COLETTE HAGOPIAN as the legal representative, a registered capital of $2 million, and its business scope includes technical services, technology development, technical consulting, technical exchange, technology transfer, technology promotion, and software development.

Business change information shows that in March 2025, the original shareholder INTEL DEUTSCHLAND GMBH exited, and ALTERA HOLDINGS CORP. was added as a wholly owned shareholder.

According to other sources, Altera is a leading global supplier of programmable logic devices, focusing on the design, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance, high-density, software-based field-programmable gate arrays, complex programmable logic devices, and structured ASICs. Founded in 1983, it was acquired by Intel in December 2015 for approximately $16.7 billion. After the acquisition, Altera operated as part of Intel’s Programmable Solutions Group but maintained its brand influence and independent product roadmap.
