According to data from Zhuochuang Information, as of the close on February 11, the domestic main and Shandong local refinery gasoline wholesale and retail price spreads were 1778 and 1865 yuan/ton, respectively, representing an increase of 15.45% and 12.48% compared to the end of January; diesel wholesale and retail price spreads were 1655 and 2003 yuan/ton, respectively, up 23.14% and 26.13% from the end of January. In early February, retail prices were raised, but the wholesale market showed divergence: gasoline demand was below expectations, and wholesale price increases were weaker than retail; due to insufficient demand, diesel prices fluctuated downward. As a result, since February, the wholesale and retail price spreads for gasoline and diesel have widened, with the trend of widening being more pronounced for diesel.
