On February 12, the wholesale prices of agricultural products slightly increased, with pork and whole chicken prices decreasing, while beef, mutton, eggs, and some vegetables and fruits prices rose. The monitored prices of fish and large hairtail also increased.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on February 12, the “Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index 200” was 129.48, up 0.03 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 132.31, up 0.04 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 18.07 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday; beef was 66.57 yuan/kg, up 0.6%; lamb was 65.06 yuan/kg, up 0.7%; eggs were 8.28 yuan/kg, up 0.5%; and whole chickens were 17.24 yuan/kg, down 0.9%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.53 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.98 yuan/kg, up 0.1%. Crucian carp was 19.73 yuan/kg, up 0.7%; carp was 14.51 yuan/kg, up 0.2%; white silver carp was 10.15 yuan/kg, up 0.7%; large hairtail was 44.67 yuan/kg, up 2.5%.
