According to Guangdian Measurement News, recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology officially announced the list of Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Centers for 2025. The “Guangdong New Energy Vehicle Battery and Component Testing Engineering Technology Research Center” (referred to as “the Center”), built by Guangdian Measurement and Testing (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Shenzhen Guangdian Measurement”), has successfully passed the accreditation. Currently, the Center focuses on new energy storage technologies such as solid-state batteries, supercapacitors, and hydrogen fuel cells. It is comprehensively deploying testing technologies in areas including high-voltage powertrains for new energy vehicles, battery systems, cells and key raw materials, high-voltage electrical components like BDU, core structural parts such as battery boxes, as well as battery thermal management systems and BMS. The Center emphasizes research on innovative testing, simulation, and AI-based failure mechanism technologies in these fields.
