According to reports, several automakers including Geely Auto and Chery Auto have recently disclosed their respective plans for all-solid-state battery development. Geely Holding Senior Vice President and CTO Shen Yuan stated that the company has laid out three major technological routes in the field of all-solid-state batteries. In terms of application planning, the short-term goal is to complete the first prototype launch by 2026; achieve small-scale industrialization of all-solid-state batteries by 2027; and the long-term goal is to complete the industrial layout of all-solid-state batteries by 2030 and to mass-market high-end models. Chery Auto Vice President Gu Chunshan said that the company plans to achieve the commissioning of a 0.5GWh pilot line and the production of PACK modules by 2026, as well as continuous production of 60Ah all-solid-state battery cells; in 2027, they will officially start vehicle demonstration projects with all-solid-state batteries, promoting the technology from production lines to real vehicle validation, and gradually realizing large-scale application.
